Supervisor
to hundreds of musical visions, Cynthia Daniels has taken the technical helm
of many orchestral ships and maneuvered the starways of the highest-energy rock
pursuits. As a multiple Emmy® and Grammy® Award winner for technical and musical
excellence, Cynthia has based her operations in New York City for over two decades,
although she has been spotted at local airports, rushing off to record Barbara
Cook fronting her orchestra at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London or perhaps to
Nashville, recording the infamous orchestral suite of the World New Tonight
Theme, deftly arranged and orchestrated by Gary Anderson. Presently, Cynthia
is chief engineer for two NY studios, recording and mixing jazz and vocal oriented
pop music, designing live sound for the stages of Lincoln Center, and working
hard to record every show possible on Broadway. Her work on The Producers earned
her a Grammy® award, while last year she brought in 2 more nominations, and
now is once again nominated for her stellar recording and mixing on Rodger's
and Hammerstein's "Flower Drum Song". As co-producer and mixer for "URGE", CReeD,
as she is known to her fold, is truly in her element, and this is not found
on the charts on your science class wall.
